Alicia Mittleman is a highly regarded licensed clinical social worker with over two decades of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, and major life transitions. Known for her compassionate presence and clinical expertise, Alicia creates a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel deeply understood and supported.
She holds degrees in social work from Sacramento State University and Washington University in St. Louis, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in psychology at California Southern University. Alicia also serves on the board of Postpartum Support International’s California chapter, reflecting her leadership in the field of perinatal mental health.
Alicia’s integrative approach combines advanced modalities such as Neurofeedback, Brainspotting, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Her strength-based, collaborative method empowers clients to build resilience, gain clarity, and make lasting change.
Specializing in trauma recovery, grief, and perinatal mental health, Alicia is particularly passionate about guiding individuals through life’s most challenging transitions with insight and care. She also proudly affirms and supports clients across the LGBTQ+ spectrum.
